On Sunday November 9th, Les Sables d'Olonne in France was the starting point for the 6th most important sailing event in Europe. A sporting event everybody had been waiting for: Vendée Globe, the sailing race around the world, singlehanded, without any stopovers, without assistance. And with Interroll and VIP customers present.

On November 8th and 9th, 22 Interroll VIP customers experienced a very special weekend. The guests came from Mexico, Russia, Turkey, Greece, UK, France, Germany, Spain and
Denmark.
On Saturday they were first transferred to the Vendée Globe Village in Port Olona (Les Sables d'Olonne). A visit to view the racing boats was organized with the famous
skipper Eric Dumont, who has previously participated twice in the Vendée Globe race. On Sunday morning, the adventure began: the group was transferred from the
residence-hotel to Les Sables d'Olonne harbour. 1 Interroll zodiac boat picked them up to follow the race boats from the harbour to the Ocean.
The official start of the race was at 13.02 o'clock. 30 navigators set sails aboard their boat, heading off alone towards the three great capes: Africa, Australia and
America.
The great experience for our guests ended with a factory visit.
