Interroll Dynamic Storage hoists the sail for the second series of Customer Event Days
It all kicked off in 2006 when, with the aim of promoting good relations with our business partners, the Interroll Dynamic Storage Centre of Excellence in La Roche-sur-Yon (France) launched its very first Event Days.
Customers and partner companies from across the globe took part in a whole range of different training events throughout 2007 on the topics of Lean Management and Improving the
Workplace, which were also specifically aimed at introducing the new Interroll Flex Flow.
Following all of the events, guests were then invited on board the Interroll catamaran, a magnificent 63 foot (20 m) long and 32 foot (10 m) wide luxury catamaran, which has
already made its mark in the legendary "Route du Rhum", "Route du Café" and "Transat" races.
The second leg of Interroll Event Days was launched in La-Roche-sur-Yon in 2008. We have a brand-new and exciting training programme to accompany a whole tranche of new
developments, such as our LIFO Speed Controller, our changeover to ISO 9001 and our new solution for the dynamic storage of metal containers. This programme of training events,
with more of a technical bias, will also provide an opportunity for guests to visit our showroom and high-tech test area within the Interroll Competence Centre.
Eric Dumont, who is well known in sailing circles for twice completing the Vendée Globe and also as a sports commentator, will again act as skipper on the catamaran trips.
It is hoped that the sailing trip across Les Sables d'Olonne Bay, during which all crew members will be expected to pitch in with the team and help with all of the manoeuvres,
will be an unforgettable experience for all those involved and one, which Interroll is happy to be able to share with its business partners.
